Wow, it looks like spring has finally decided to show its face! What a gorgeous day! I woke up at a reasonable time and decided to get all my errands over and done with in time for me to catch some rays in the yard listening to my chunes on the mighty iPod.
Then my freakin allergies got in the way *cries*. Luckily I don't get them really bad.
I'm starting to pack up things I won't be using/needing until after my move. It's ssooo exciting! I still can't believe in less than 2 months I'll be back to living on my own. FREEDOM!

TGIF
The last Friday of April too! THANK BLOOD GOD@
I'm getting excited for summer to begin. I'm also getting pumped to move into my condo though my moneybag days will be long gone unless I get a raise!
I actually found out that we may be going on strike (my union) this summer. I will know more details near the end of May when they go back to the bargaining tables. I'm crossing my fingers and toes that they don't go on strike but finally settle on something. The last thing I need is to go on strike right before I move!!! How that would suck! :(
I'm also thinking of getting a kitty cat. A siamese to be exact. I love that kind of cat. I found a breeder in my city but she wants to charge me $250/cat. My friend who has 2 siamese told me that's a good price. I dunno man, they don't even come fixed nor declawed! *sigh* we'll have to see, maybe if I get a raise I will lol!
Not doing anything this weekend spectacular. Jimmy isn't working so I'm staying at his pad and we'll just stay in watching movies, running errands and going to the gym I pressume.

Family visiting
I just talked to my cousin who lives in Toronto and found out that my aunt (my mom's oldest sister) is coming to Canada to visit for about a month!! woohoo! I haven't seen her since I was last in Peru Jan 2005. My mom and brother haven't seen her in much much longer. She's staying obviously at her son's place in Toronto but they are all coming here for the May 2-4 weekend yay! She'll get to meet Jimmy and Kely (my bro's gf).
I can't wait :)
OMG OMG! I just found out that on June 2nd, our Director General is taking us for the afternoon on a boat cruise!!!!! YAY! :D

Quebec City
As promised, I've finally downloaded all my photos from Quebec City. I won't of course showcase them all. Though if you would like to see them all, just shoot me a message and I'll send you the link to the image gallery.
I still can't believe how quickly the weekend passed by. WOW. Now I don't have anything to look forward to until my move-in date. After that, it's Halifax trip to look fwd to and after that my bday then xmas then PERU!
Yea, another trip to Peru. I know I said I wouldn't be going back for a few yrs but my granny is turning 80 and since most of my family here in Canada is going, I thought I should too. I'm bringing Jimmy with me. It's important that he meet my family. Unlike my last trip with Phil, this time we are spending the whole time there with family.
We're also going to spend most of the 2 weeks there on the beach at my uncle and aunt's beach houses. I can't wait! I'm getting a well deserved tan that's for sure! I barely got one on my last visit cos we were travelling all over the south! I'm totally making up for it this trip around! We're also flying direct this time. No more problems with connections. I refuse to go through the troubles I did last time. *sigh*.
Work has been sooo quiet lately it's unbelievable. :( I sure hope it picks up soon. The days are totally dragging by blaaah!
So anyhoo, enough talk and check out some of my other photos.

First time's a charm!
So I finally decided to follow in the trends and sign up to have a blog. I need to find out for myself what the big deal is with blogs. I grew up with a diary but maybe this will be a lot easier. I see that not all the entries need to be public which is an added bonus ;D
We celebrated my mom's 50th bday this past weekend by renting an SUV and driving to Quebec City for the weekend. Just my stepdad, brother and I plus mom. Excellent weekend. What a beautiful city! We even had time to venture to an aquarium and check out the neighbouring towns! I'll upload a couple of the best shots from the weekend sometime this week. I really thought I'd die driving there since I'm not a big fan of car rides. I even think Montreal is quite the drive for me haha yea yea, I suck I know. I'm all about train and plain rides!
Sooo the countdown to the move-in date has officially begun! T minus 2 months OMG OMG! Can you believe how quickly time has flown? It seems like just yesterday I was purchasing my apartment. Wow and to think that was back in April 2003.
